This original 24"x36" hand carved linocut print by Southern California artist Matthew Allen was created for his Impressions art show alongside ceramicist Logan Wannamaker, at Folklore in Santa Fe, New Mexico. Framed in walnut hardwood. Inspired by the landscape around Santa Fe, this artwork was created using linocut printing on raw linen canvas fabric. The unevenness of the pressed ink on the fabric's weave adds texture details to the artwork's wavy lines and simple shapes. Peaceful art for the contemporary home.
