Impressions
Show Opening + Artist Reception
Saturday, June 27: 5-8pm
Join me in Santa Fe at Folklore for my show Impressions.
Often inspired by the pacific waves of Southern California, I journeyed to the Sangre de Cristo, to spend time exploring the environment, and natural vibrations, of Santa Fe. A practiced observer, these hand carved block prints are visual artifacts of my journey; impressions made on natural fibers, representative of the impressions that the landscape, energies, and weather of the region carved into my subconscious during my time in Santa Fe.
From Folklore: Impressions features new work by visiting multimedia artist Matthew Allen and Taos-based ceramics artist Logan Wannamaker. We'll also be celebrating the launch of a Logan Wannamaker Pop-Up at Folklore, featuring functional and fine art wood-fired ceramics from Wannamaker and a number of his apprentices. Enjoy treats and a special cacao offering as well, served from Wannamaker’s earthy vessels.
