This May I will be traveling to Japan to show my art at the Greenroom Festival. I love coming to Japan for this event and I am always honored when I am invited to participate. Greenroom asked me to create the branding for the festival this year. I presented a number of options, and the one we landed on involved a combination of some of my hand drawn fonts that I customized to suit the event. The fonts used in the logo design were "Yeehaw Cowabunga Holy Shit", "Las Gaviotas", and "Wetsuit".Â
We also selected one of my surf photos for use on promotional materials. This image of Garrison Carrasco was taken right here in Southern California. I hope to see you in Japan this Spring!
